Flybox Eggstasy - Ltd Edition Fl Cheddar - Special DOUBLE-DYED “Fl Cheddar” EGGSTASY and ELECTRIC EGGSTASY

Dyed by a good friend of Flybox in his successful ‘Cheddar’ shade, this colour is dyed over pre-dyed UV White Eggstasy. The pale shades are among the most successful shades in this material, and this shade is a great one for the smallwater angler.

Very limited stock, we only have one batch, also available in the UV Electric version.

Flybox Eggstasy - Flybox Eggstasy is a revolutionary new product for tying egg-flies. Unlike standard egg-yarn, which involves spinning yarn, Eggstasy is built on a core which means you can simply tie it like a chenille.  The other huge difference that sets Eggstasy apart from other yarns is the fibre itself. Eggstasy is the first material to be made from new ‘Next Generation’ (NX-Gen Fibre). This material is a game-changer synthetic. NX-Gen Fibres are micro thin and are designed to trap water forming an almost slush-like texture when wet, almost like a sponge. The fibres themselves are also translucent which allows light to travel through the egg/blob and the NX-Gen Fibre has great movement, unlike egg yarn which remains static.  In the water the egg looks almost life-like.
